By the end of last year, exactly on December 30th, Kramnik got married in Paris.

Last Sunday afternoon, Vladimir and his wife Marie-Laure held a private ceremony at the orthodox church St-Alexandre-Nevsky in Paris. The ceremony took place in a very warm and familiar atmosphere,  where apart from the families only some very close friends were invited. Among them Boris Spassky (see the last picture on this page).
