Frederic Friedel, a well known personality from
ChessBase, conducted a
long interview with World Champion Vladimir Kramnik
during the Miskolc rapid chess match against Peter Leko in April this year. The
interview was recorded in video, with a fairly comprehensive
transcription and divided into 4 parts. This third part was published on
07.06.2007 on the ChessBase website. "Did you cheat in Elista?" That is
the first question we put to Vladimir Kramnik on this touchy subject. "No, I
never cheated in my life," he replied, "not in winning or losing, buying or
selling games, and of course no cheating during a game." In part three of our
interview the world champion speaks about accusations raised against him in
Elista. Warning: this segment contains harsh language.
