The 37th Edition of the International Dortmund Chess days takes place from 2-12 July 2009. Six very strong grandmasters compete in a double round robin elite tournament.

First round results:

Carlsen-Jakovenko 1-0, Leko-Kramnik and Naiditsch-Bacrot drawn.

In the second round, to be played today, Kramnik will be White against Bacrot
